Carpet cleaning FAQs.
Most carpets are ready for light foot traffic in 4–6 hours with air conditioning and good ventilation. For thicker or high-pile carpets, allow 6–8 hours. We recommend not replacing heavy furniture for 12 hours.
Most stains respond very well to professional treatment — especially food, drink, pet and soil stains. Very old, deeply set stains or those where the wrong treatment has already been applied may only partially respond. We'll assess and give you an honest expectation before starting.
Shrinkage can occur if carpets are over-wetted or not properly extracted — a common problem with hire machines. Our industrial-grade suction fully extracts moisture, and we use appropriate water levels for each carpet type. Wool carpets are at highest risk — we use specific low-moisture methods for wool.
We can move light furniture (chairs, small tables, ottomans). Heavy items like sofas, beds and cabinets should ideally be cleared from the carpet area before we arrive. If that's not possible, we'll clean accessible areas and discuss the best approach on-site.
For Singapore's climate: once a year minimum for low-traffic areas; every 6 months for high-traffic areas or homes with pets or children. After a spill, treat immediately then book a professional clean within 2–4 weeks to prevent staining from setting.
