"Booked for our 4-room HDB after full renovation. The cement dust was everywhere — even inside cabinets they hadn't used. MyCleanHome got every last bit. We moved in the next day without hesitation."
"Our contractor said the unit was 'clean'. MyCleanHome found fine dust inside the cabinets and along window tracks. Completely different standard."
"Fixed price upfront, crew arrived on time with all equipment. They cleaned behind the AC trunking, inside every cabinet, and even polished the new flooring. Worth every cent."

Why Choose MyCleanHome
What makes us different from most post-reno cleaners.
Reno-specific equipment, not standard home-cleaning kit
Post-renovation sites have fine cement dust that standard mops and sprays can spread around. We bring industrial-grade vacuums with HEPA filters, chemical-safe solutions and specialist scrubbers.
Written scope before we start — no scope creep
You receive a detailed scope before booking confirms. If something gets added during the job, we discuss it with you first. Nothing gets billed that wasn't agreed upfront.
Eco-safe products — move in the same day
We use non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning agents. No chemical residue means you can move furniture in and start living as soon as the job is done.
Available the day after handover
We can typically schedule within 1–3 days. Coordinate your clean to happen right after your contractor's final walkthrough — we'll have the unit ready before your furniture delivery.

The Real Difference
The spots contractors and budget cleaners miss.
Most post-reno cleaners focus on visible surfaces. We go further.
Why It Matters
Post-renovation dust is a health risk — not just an eyesore.
Cement dust, silica particles and VOC residue from renovation materials aren't just visible on surfaces — they become airborne every time you walk across the floor, open a window, or switch on the AC.
What's in renovation dust?
- Silica particles — from cement grinding and tile cutting. Inhaled silica is a known lung irritant and long-term health risk.
- Paint fumes (VOCs) — fresh paint releases volatile organic compounds for weeks after application. Common symptoms include headaches, nausea and eye irritation.
- Formaldehyde — present in many laminate flooring, MDF cabinets and adhesives used in renovation. Linked to respiratory problems and sleep disruption.
- Fine gypsum & plaster dust — settles deep in carpet and soft furnishings, triggering allergies and asthma, particularly in children.
Professional post-renovation cleaning removes these particles from surfaces before they become entrenched — and before your furniture and soft furnishings trap them for months.
When should you do post-reno cleaning?
Ideally within 48 hours of your contractor's final day. The longer construction dust sits, the more it settles into grout lines, hinges and soft surfaces where it's harder to remove. Schedule your clean to happen right after handover — before your furniture delivery.
Do you also offer formaldehyde removal?
Yes — formaldehyde removal using eco-safe neutralising agents is an add-on service. Mention it when you request your quote and we'll include it in the scope. Many new-renovation clients in Singapore book this alongside the standard post-reno clean.
Common Questions
What people ask about post-reno cleaning.
A 3-room HDB typically takes 5–7 hours with a 2-person crew. A 4-room HDB runs 7–10 hours. Larger or heavily soiled units may need a 2-day job. We'll estimate the duration when we provide your quote.
We handle fine construction debris — leftover sand, cement powder, small offcuts. We don't remove large materials like leftover tiles, unused cement bags or bulky packaging — your contractor should clear those before we arrive.
Yes — we use eco-safe, non-toxic cleaning agents. Allow about 1–2 hours for surfaces to dry and any cleaning fragrance to clear, then the unit is ready for furniture delivery and move-in.
Contractors sweep and do a basic clean as part of their handover. They are not professional cleaners. Fine cement dust in tracks, corners, cabinets and other accessible areas are almost always present even after contractor clean-up. We consistently find areas contractors consider "done" that still need significant work.
Our crew does a walkthrough with you at the end of the job. If any area doesn't meet your satisfaction, we redo it on the spot before we leave. We don't leave until you're happy with the result.
We use soft microfibre cloths and appropriate-pH solutions on painted walls. We never use abrasive scrubbers or strong solvents near fresh paint. For paint that's less than 2 weeks old, we use dry-dusting methods only to avoid streaking.
Yes — if only part of your home was renovated (e.g. kitchen and bathrooms only), we can scope the clean to those areas. This is usually priced lower than a full-unit clean. Just let us know when you request your quote.
