Inspect the mattress first
The label, fabric, internal construction and age of a stain affect the treatment. A method suitable for a conventional spring mattress may be inappropriate for a sensitive foam or latex design. Share the care label and photos of any marks before a cleaner commits to a process.
Where enzyme-based cleaners fit
Enzyme-based products help break down some organic soiling before extraction. The cleaner should choose a product suitable for the fabric, allow the correct dwell time and avoid promising that every old stain will disappear. Blood, urine and sweat require different handling.
How wet extraction works
